Meet the New Website!

We’re excited to finally share with you the redesign of my art site, RS Chiarella.

The idea behind the changes was to make the site as a whole more user-friendly and to more fully “flesh out” the variety of art work and services offered here at the studio. We wanted to keep it simple and easy to navigate. We also wanted to provide a way to not only show the art in my portfolio, but to make it more readily available to purchase as a fine art reproduction – something I’ve been doing for years, just not on my website. Now, I’m glad to be able to bring it all together.

Every image now has a  tab which enables you to ask a question or to say something about the piece you’re looking at. We’ve also included on the bottom some of the wonderful feedback I receive from collectors of my work.

My portfolio is divided into specific themes, and there’s additional information on commissions and framing. I’ve also added a Frequently Asked Questions page which typically answers many of the questions people have when thinking about ordering a portrait – but the information also applies to commissions in general.

Then, of course, there’s also this blog which is new territory for me. I’m not quite sure what the focus will be at this point, or if there will even be one. I think I’ll just let it take care of itself and see where it goes. It’s sure to be an exercise in editing my thoughts and getting to the point. I have a lot of interests and once I start talking, there’s no shutting me up…or so I’ve been told.

There are a number of easy ways to contact us here at the studio if you have questions about anything on the site, or just want to say hi. Naturally, you can also visit us here at our studio if you’re in the area. We’re open every day from noon to 7pm, and by appointment. It’s an easy second-story walkup on Queen West in Parkdale.

Feel free to visit our other site by clicking on this bold text, Studio 1484 where you can view our ongoing collection of mid-century collectibles, we wanted the sites to have a very similar look and feel so there would be a consistency between the two.

That’s about it for now. If I forgot to mention something, I’ll either edit this post or mention it in a future one.

Thanks for dropping in,
Robert
