My Story
A journey through light and shadow
From a young age, I was captivated by my mother’s drawings and paintings, a fascination that blossomed into a lifelong passion for artistic creation.
As a visual artist, I work with a diverse range of media to capture and convey the world’s beauty. My work balances a desire to challenge conventional forms with a deep respect for tradition. Whether depicting the elegance of still life, the vibrancy of nature, or the allure of old Hollywood, I strive to create pieces that blend form and function, appealing to both the eye and the heart.

A Space for Creation
My studio is my playroom, my mudroom, my sanctuary. It’s a space where I can immerse myself in creativity, experiment with new ideas, and find peace. Always open to new techniques and eager to bring my visions to life, my studio is where I continually push myself to evolve and grow as an artist.

Resource Photos
By working from photographs, we can avoid the inconvenience and expense of multiple sittings. While I prefer to take the photos myself, this isn’t always feasible, especially if you’re in another part of the world or if the portrait is meant to be a surprise. In such cases, I’m happy to work with any photos you have on hand and will assist you in selecting the best ones that capture both the likeness and personality.
Selection of Resource Images
Once we have the right photos, you’ll choose the medium and size of the portrait, which will determine the final price.
Review
As the painting approaches completion, I’ll invite you to a review session to ensure every detail meets your satisfaction. This is the perfect opportunity to make any necessary adjustments to the likeness.
Delivery
We’ll arrange delivery together, ensuring it fits your schedule. Typically, you can expect your portrait to be completed within a few months from when the painting is started.
Payment
To begin your custom portrait, a non-refundable deposit of 40% of the total price is required. After significant progress has been made, a midway payment of 30% of the total price will be due. Upon completion of your portrait and before delivery, the remaining balance of 30% of the total price will be payable.
Clients have the flexibility to choose their preferred payment arrangement, whether it’s paying in two equal installments (50/50) or settling the entire amount upfront.
Please note that all deposits and installments are non-refundable to compensate for the time and resources invested in creating your custom portrait. The final balance includes any additional costs for framing and/or shipping, ensuring a comprehensive and transparent payment process.
